Saint Laurent‘s creative director Hedi Slimane who took the reigns in 2012, has since given Yves Saint Laurent’s classic androgynous mix a spin of its own with a modern touch of indie-rock trending through.
For the latest Spring/Summer 2015 Permanent Collection which, as it implies features staple products such as shirts, sweaters and leather jackets – however it’s not so much the collection that has drawn in an audience, but more so the faces that front the campaign.
Snapped as the new faces of Saint Laurent‘s Permanent Collection is Dylan Brosnan – yes, Pierce Brosnan is his father – and Jack Kilmer , Val Kilmer‘s son.
Dylan Brosnan, who is only 17-years-old, was spotted in Malibu by Slimane, and thanks to good looks and charm, sees his first début into the fashion industry sporting Saint Laurent wardrobe staples like skinny jeans, classic white shirts, Western boots and the signature tux jacket.
Brosnan who is also an aspiring musician joins the likes of artists such as Daft Punk, Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love to collaborate with the brand.
Jack Kilmer, needs no introduction; other than being Val’s son, he also starred as a troubled teen in last year’s Palo Alto and has walked in the label’s SS 2015 runway. At 19, Jack Kilmer’s features of slender frame, long hair and overall androgynous aesthetic – it’s no wonder Slimane was drawn to have him fronting the campaign.
Slimane‘s aesthetic of rock’n’roll meets androgynous fashion has produced a collection that dresses the new man. An artist whose clothes bring out something surreal.
